AzSEC - Arizona Student Energy Conference

Third Annual Student Conference on Renewable Energy Science, Technology, and Policy

April 1 & 2, 2014, at the ASU Memorial Union, Tempe, AZ

Graduate students and post-docs from Arizona's top universities will come together this spring with the state's leading renewable energy experts and researchers for the Arizona Student Energy Conference (AzSEC), an annual two-day symposium focusing on developments and exploration in the fields of renewable energy science, technology, and policy.

Poster sessions and awards, policy panel discussions, and PhD presentations will demonstrate the broad scope of research activities being conducted at the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and Northern Arizona University, while keynote talks from industry experts and an evening industry mixer will provide opportunities for discussion and networking amongst students and professionals.

Also this year, pre-conference tutorial sessions will introduce participants to fundamental concepts of renewable energy, and faculty talks will offer insight into the pioneering and collaborative work taking place at Arizona's research institutions.

There is no cost to attend.

Students should register for the conference and submit poster abstracts no later than March 28. Students will be notified of their selection status by March 28.
